   Create Local/SFTP Campaign Export

You can export campaign from RI to a local file or SFTP through Mediator via scheduling so as to download campaign information, campaign template, reports etc. Go through the following steps to retrieve campaign data from RI.

    1. Access Mediator through Admin page.
    2. Tab to Export, then click Add. A window will pop up.
    3. Tab to Details to fill in basic information of the export job.
    4. Fill in Name and Description.

    1. Select Campaign as Type.

    1. Choose Data Store Type, either Local File Source or SFTP Source, and then Data Store.
    2. Define the Matching Pattern.
    3. Tab to Criteria to define export criteria. You can either export all lists, or just export certain lists with the filter machine.
    4. The system default to export all campaigns. Check the radio button of Filtered, then select the filter criteria. You can filtered by only one criterion or have multiple criteria. Type in Campaign UIN, Campaign Name etc, or just click  to select from the searching menu or select from the pull-down to define the export criteria.

    1. Tab to Template, and click Edit to edit Output Template. An editing window will pop up.

    1. Select an Output Template from the pull-down menu, either Activities Report or Basic Report, and then click Apply. You will get a template example for that kind of output template. You can edit the template directly in the text box.

Alert: When you change one output template to another, a warning message will ask to confirm if you want to replace your current work with a new output template, click Ok to process, while click Cancel to return.

    1. When finish editing, click Preview to view result.

    1. If you want to insert certain properties instead of using the output template or add more properties to the exported file, you can you can first select the format and then choose the properties from the tree panel on the left. Scroll down to see more properties.

For example, if want to export to a text file as the following:

You need to go through the following steps:

Step 1: You need to type: uin:, id:, ……Campaign actual end date:, press enter after each label.

Step 2: Extend campaign, click uin and click insert it after “uin:”

Step 3: Then you’ll get the following:

Step 4: Click and insert the information to the edit box accordingly. Then you’ll get:

Step 5: Press stage, then insert. The following code segment will appear:

Step 6: Replace <#-- Content goes here --> with

Stage Name: ${stage.name}

Stage Description: ${stage.description}

Stage coverage: ${stage.coverage}%

Schedule start time:${stage.scheduledStartTime?datetime}

Step 7: Type Stage Name:, Stage Description:,…in the text box, press enter after each label.

Step 8: Press name and insert it to the edit box, do the same to the other 3 and you’ll see:

Step 9: Rename LABEL as other meaningful name such as “stage and delete all the reminders: <#-- Please rename LABEL as your defined label in List -->.

Note: The sentences between <#-- and - -> are just for reminding. You can delete them if you wish.

    1. When finish inserting the properties, click Preview to view the result and click OK to save the result.

    1. Tab to Alert to define when an alert to be sent.
    2. Select a Conflict Handling Policy.

    1. If you want to receive notification of when conflict occurs, check the box of When conflicts, send email to alert.

    1. Check the box to define how to handle errors. If you check Halt on Error, system will stop executing the job; if you check send alert when error occurs, system will send you alert message about the error.

Alert: Only if you check both boxes will the system stop when error occurs with an alert message to send to you.

    1. Type in Email Address to set who the alert will be sent to.
    2. Tab to Scheduler to set job execution period.
    1. Click OK to save all settings, while Cancel to return without saving anything.
